Service definition

CPEN Router provides a benchmarked AI routing and analysis API, Data Safety enforcement, route status, budget controls, and related developer tools. CPEN is an independent software service and is not affiliated with OpenAI or any third-party AI service unless expressly stated.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for safeguarding API keys, OAuth access, billing links, and all activity under your account. You may not share accounts, mask the real user of a workload, create abusive duplicate accounts, or use CPEN on behalf of a person or entity that is not eligible to use the service.

Third-party AI services

Requests may be processed by third-party AI model services and infrastructure vendors when needed to provide CPEN. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your prompts, outputs, applications, users, and use case comply with applicable platform terms, acceptable use policies, laws, sanctions rules, and export or data-transfer restrictions.

Policy compliance

You may not use CPEN for traffic that violates third-party AI platform terms, safety rules, sanctions controls, account eligibility, service limits, or applicable law. We may reject, limit, or terminate traffic that we believe creates abuse, platform, legal, or payment risk.

Usage billing and Data Safety fee

CPEN usage billing applies only to CPEN Router requests. The model usage charge is calculated from the published CPEN input and output token rates, using measured token usage and applying any prompt-cache reconciliation first. DS2-DS4 then add a Data Safety fee equal to 1% of that cache-reconciled model usage charge. DS0 and DS1 add no Data Safety fee. The dashboard ledger is the itemized record of model usage, cache reconciliation, and the resulting charge. Account balances are non-transferable, not cash redeemable, and usable only inside CPEN.

Referral and promotional credits

Referral-code or promotional usage credits may be limited to one account, customer, payment method, device, or household, may require a valid code before billing starts, may expire, and may be withheld, reversed, or adjusted for duplicate accounts, scripted signups, refund abuse, chargebacks, unsupported payment activity, sanctions risk, or policy violations. Referral and promotional credits are non-transferable, not cash redeemable, and usable only for CPEN API requests.

Subscriptions and hosted checkout

Hosted checkout is provided by the configured payment processor when available. Processor billing availability depends on jurisdiction, sanctions screening, processor eligibility, and CPEN risk review. Subscription plans renew at the displayed interval until canceled through the processor or by contacting support@cpenrouter.space. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not convert used or promotional API credit to cash. Processor rules, sanctions screening, eligibility checks, taxes, payment-method availability, settlement timing, refunds, and chargebacks may affect whether checkout is offered or completed.

Benchmarks and availability

Benchmarks, route rankings, prices, latency, reliability, and risk indicators are informational measurements from a point in time, not guarantees. Routes, model services, aliases, prices, caps, rate limits, and availability may change without notice, including when needed for security, compliance, cost, or reliability.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, revoke, or terminate accounts, API keys, routes, account balances, billing access, or requests immediately and without prior notice for suspected abuse, fraud, sanctions exposure, payment risk, security risk, platform-policy risk, legal exposure, chargebacks, or violation of these terms or the acceptable use policy. We are not required to disclose detection logic or risk signals.

No warranties

CPEN is provided as-is and as-available. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, third-party AI service availability, model quality, output accuracy, cost savings, route pricing, fitness for a particular purpose, or that any output is safe, lawful, accurate, or appropriate for your use case.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CPEN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, lost-profit, data-loss, business-interruption, third-party service, payment, or processor losses. Our aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid CPEN for the service in the one month before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CPEN, its operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, fees, and expenses arising from your use of CPEN, your content, your users, your violation of law, your violation of third-party terms, payment disputes, or your breach of these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, pricing, usage billing, supported routes, payment methods, and policies by posting changes on the site. Support and legal notices may be sent to support@cpenrouter.space.

Effective date and acceptance

These terms are effective July 11, 2026. By creating an account, starting checkout, or using a CPEN API key, you accept the version presented at that time. Material changes apply prospectively after they are posted; changes required for security, law, abuse prevention, or third-party service continuity may take effect immediately.
